What would be everyones ideal starting XI for England (in a competative game) and who would you have a capt......

unsure re the best 11 - but Terry definitely would be my captain. Nobody else comes close.

I agree with Brown at RB but not really with Gerrard as capt - not vocal enough.
I would have Ferdinand to be honest and i would play Owen IF he was fit - he should not be included as standard.

I would pick Brown at RB but to be honest we dont have a good enough RB. Gerrard would be my Capt because I beleive that the extra responsibility would help him step up a gear. Not too worried about how vocal he is, as there are probably 4 or 5 capts in the England team anyway. Never been a fan of Cashley hence Wayne bridge in at LB.

I have just landed in Panama.
Feck if I can find an english chaannel among thge 80 in the hotel room...apart from friggin fox news and cnn....all with the ir head stuck in the november election.
I´d give that lad Walcott a run out. He might scare Croatia with his pace.

saw the goals this morning mate, about 6am on espn. spanish commentary.....among a zillion other highlight matches.
