Obviously talk in here about Liverpool FC. No harm in talking about other teams either now and again.
It should be far better to talk in here rather than talking out in the comments under the articles.
Hopefully your posts will just appear, rather than you needing to wait for me to moderate them.
All we need now is something to talk about.

Thanks for the invite to this board, what players from our reserves might make thw breakthrough this summer? Its all very well having millions(or maybe not millions in our case at this present moment) to spend, but bringing reserves through to the first team enables excellant prospects in seasons to come choose to come to Anfield much like all the best kids choose Arsenal due to the very real prospect of breaking into their first team. Plessis and Insua spring to mind, but what of Jay Spearing? Or Nemeth,or maybe Jordy Brouwer?

I hope the two extra sub places for league games are used by Rafa as much as possible to get some playing time for the youngsters.

Jim, Congratulations on getting the board up and running. I'm not entirely sure it's really you speaking when you say we need something to talk about – we're generally not a shy lot when it comes to mouthing off about something, are we?

Actually when I wrote that originally it was a couple of weeks ago, before I set off on a quest to fix the template and other bits and pieces that sit behind the board. I cut and pasted it into a newer post the other day, but it's got a bit quiet since then really! I suppose if we sign Robbie Savage it'll all start to build up again!

That would be when the Dream...errrr, Nightmare squad is formed, right? Savage, Bellamy and Cisse up front, Diouf, Lucas Neill, Bowyer (hmmm, what is this saying about West Ham), and all the other mindless thugs in the EPL.

as Julie says, well played Jim on setting up this forum.
Your blog was great and I loved contributing (under toshackrises).....but blogs are not the best format for lively footy discussion.
The timing is pretty good too. Being the close season, the forum can get a chance to build up before the new season begins.
Hoping Chelsea can do it tomorrow night. I couldn't stand the thought of United winning.

The existing facility will remain, I think this is just something extra.
On the other site, the comments are supposed to be in response to whatever topic I've put on there, but on here you can start your own topics.
Sometimes I can't exactly start a news story about something that perhaps I could start a topic on here about.
Anthony can start all the Derek Acorah type threads he likes on here!

Well done Jim,
I love the format of the usual .com blog so great to hear that that is remaining.
Quick question: How do you get your reputation up'd? Can't be having no rep now can I?!

People have to click on the blue heart. I should change that image shouldn't I?

BTW, does the fact we're talking on here now mean the other site is gonna die? Would be a shame but I can't imagine ppl constantly posting the same messages on both
