this site's host doesn't seem to be up to much these months.  It's down a fair bit.

Yeah its happening more often now!  Even the guys who still comment on the main site are making noises of possibly starting up a site/communication page to stay in touch if this site goes tits up!

a good host costs peanuts these days.  Hostgator would probably be around 40 or 50 quid for the year.  I'd pay my share.

Jim needs to assign some extra administrators to look after the site on his behalf if he's unable to find the time imo.

I think we need some kind of back up plan just in case, let me think on it!

I agree with you both, gurdeep and iskoppa.

I notice that when the site goes down (even for half a day), that things get very slow in getting going again.  It might mean say only 2 or 3 of us being around, in the days after the site goes down.  Action is slow, to say the least.

We aren't gonna go far with such probs.
